Course Overview

Motion Graphics

Software makes things move, but principles make motion feel right. You will study timing and spacing, easing curves, weight and follow through, anticipation, and secondary motion, then apply them to typography, logos, and interface transitions. The course covers building a motion style with a consistent speed and character, storyboarding and animatics before animating, sound as part of the timing, and critiquing your own work against the principles rather than personal taste.
